“Danny Krivit's 45-year DJ career reads like the evolution of dance music itself. He grew up in the '60s, experiencing the very earliest days of New York disco, and later gained a musical education at some of the world's most legendary nightspots. The Loft, The Gallery, The Paradise Garage—Danny was a regular at them all. Remarkably, Krivit is one of only a handful of DJs other than Larry Levan to have played at The Garage.

Born and raised in the mecca of house music, it was only a matter of time before Rissa Garcia got behind the decks. Growing up with a love of music, in 2000 she discovered a club called Vinyl and Danny Tenaglia. She fell in love with the atmoshphere while falling deeper in love with the music and started DJing in 2004.
She currently runs her own imprint, NightChild Records, and has released over sixty EP's from producers across the globe. With some of her recent releases receiving support from Alexander Robotnik, Louie Vega, X-Press 2, Jus-Ed and more, she strives to offer a consistent quality synonymous with those who have an influence on her.
A regular fixture in the NYC scene, Rissa has put together a journey through house music for the 39th Good Room Podcast, traversing through vocal, deep and sparkling house tracks

Hey Everyone….we’ve come up with the perfect venue to convey our message of Dancing Room Only and extremely happy to announce our first of what we hope to be many events in NYC…. our official launch Thursday May 12th we present you with Forward Disc ( Sean Corma & Chili Davi) and Danny Krivit …..we love to see you dancing!
Also to note we hope to be doing some with the theme of Locals n Legends where I invite one of the legends to play with some of our fine locals.
