“Given Eris Drew and Octo Octa's Midwest rave background and the fact that they live together in rural New Hampshire, there was something very personal and special about their curated stage, Forestrave. A small cabin dwarfed by a giant sound system (with no less than 40 subs), it featured a lineup of close friends and contemporaries and offered a window into the T4T LUV NRG world. Drew and Octo Octa both played back-to-backs across the weekend–the former with stateside rave veteran Mystic Bill and the latter with edit queen Bored Lord–and Forestrave provided a constant source of joy for fluorescent, anorak-clad ravers and high fashion voguers alike. The best set on this stage was arguably New York's Rissa Garcia. The latest edition of RIssa Garcia’s Touch of Love Mix Series is now live.
This mix was made with the intention of letting go. After 4 years of turmoil and uncertainty in the US, we finally felt able to breathe again.
With the appointment of our new President Elect here in the states, there was a palpable energy shift in the air, an electric buzz in the streets of NYC and it was inspiring. Touch of Love 003 is a mix made to just close your eyes, breathe and let go of your cares, get lost in the music because for the first time in a long time, I feel hope again.

While all of us are living the quarantine life, Good Room has asked friends and residents to share mixes for our Solitude Series so you can dance on your own. The ninth mix comes from Rissa Garcia. NYC-based Rissa Garcia, is the Dancing Room Only resident DJ and founder of NightChild Records. An avid record collector, Rissa brings so much energy and joy to the dancefloor through her DJ sets. Here's what she had to say about her mix;
"Good Room has always been so warm and welcoming to the underground dance community and I’m happy to be able to contribute in any way I can to help them in such an uncertain and tumultuous time for any small business. We have no idea when we will be able to dance together again so I made this mix as a reminder to us all that no matter what we face in life we always have music to help get us through. And as long as we music we are never truly alone. “Who hears music feels his solitude peopled at once"."
