It’s been a while since @dannykrivit have played together (well in the same room I’ve had the pleasure of playing his 718 Sessions a few times recently but different rooms 😆) and can not convey enough how much music I have learned from him over the years as a dancer and long time devotee to he and @bennysoto much loved and highly cherished @718sessions monthly parties 🥰🥰 I always look forward to playing alongside the legends because a lot of the time they bring out the “heads”….the true dancers and music lovers and there is nothing like playing for these people Hope you join us this weekend as we bring a lil bit of NYC to Toronto and Detroit Fri Dec 6th we’ll be @standardtime.to with @__jeepmix__ joining in and then popping over to Detroit on Sat 12.7 with local shero @sillygirlcarmen for @builtbymeanred -Warehouse style location tba to ticket holders 🪩🕺💃 💪🏼 Tickets on sale now - hit the link in bio to join in😁

2nd time playing for the skaters session @xanadu.nyc which is a different experience for me than opening a room for dancers….as I usually open with something soft, mellow n jazzy as kind of a warm hug welcoming you in ….I didn’t think that style would work for skaters so was thinking more along the lines of slow soulful funky grooves….and then about 30mins in the router that linked the cdjs went out on me and I lost my train of thought 🤣 you know those moments when you have to play something you didn’t want to play 🤷🏻‍♀️😆 now you’re trying to think of what to play next on the only usb you have access to when everything you thought of playing was on the other “linked one” ….the stuff of DJ nightmares lol thankfully a few songs later the sound tech realized what happen and was able to reboot and get everything linked again 👏🏻👏🏻 It was great to see @francoisknyc in his element among the skaters twirling around to a masterful set of disco/funk/soul and more 🙌🙌 def took some notes even got @dannytenagliaofficial pop in ❤️ Had a blast and hope to do it again soon 🛼🪩🛼 Thank you to the lovely team at Xanadu @builtbymeanred for having me 😁❤️ Thanks to @ruez_nyc for some snaps 📸
